About the Opportunity

Our client, a leader in the custom cabinetry and millwork industry, is seeking a skilled Cabinet Designer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented professional to design high-quality cabinetry solutions while working closely with builders, homeowners, and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to design functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry

  • Use design software (such as AutoCAD, 2020, Microvellum or Cabinet Vision) to create detailed layouts and elevations

  • Translate client needs and project requirements into precise cabinet designs ready for production

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and drawings for customer approval

  • Partner with production and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of design plans

  • Maintain knowledge of current cabinet design trends, materials, and hardware

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Cabinet Designer in residential or commercial projects

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 2020 Design, Microvellum or Cabinet Vision

  • Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and finishes

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications

  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and collaboration
