Business Litigation Associate (2–6 Years’ Experience)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Opportunity:
A well-respected and growing Florida law firm is seeking a talented Business Litigation Associate to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to elevate their litigation career in a collaborative, high-performing, and client-focused environment.

The firm handles a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters and is known for its strategic advocacy, attention to detail, and commitment to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Handle disputes involving contracts, business torts, real estate, and partnership conflicts

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct depositions, and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Work closely with partners and clients to develop and execute litigation strategies

  • Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case status and strategy

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

  • 2–6 years of experience in business or commercial litigation

  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Courtroom and deposition experience preferred

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a team
