Business Litigation Associate (2–6 Years’ Experience)

About the Opportunity:
A well-respected and growing Florida law firm is seeking a talented Business Litigation Associate to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to elevate their litigation career in a collaborative, high-performing, and client-focused environment.
The firm handles a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters and is known for its strategic advocacy, attention to detail, and commitment to client success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Handle disputes involving contracts, business torts, real estate, and partnership conflicts
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Conduct depositions, and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
Work closely with partners and clients to develop and execute litigation strategies
Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case status and strategy
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
2–6 years of experience in business or commercial litigation
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Courtroom and deposition experience preferred
Self-starter with the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a team
