Estimator Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and bid packages
Support in takeoffs and quantity surveys
Help compile subcontractor pricing and vendor quotes
Learn to utilize conceptual design and value engineering principles
Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to develop estimates
Estimator Qualifications:
0–2 years of experience in construction or estimating preferred
B.S. in Construction Management or related field is a strong plus
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn estimating software and commercial construction methods
