Job Description

Job Title: Flooring Estimator Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Flooring Estimator to join our team. The Flooring Estimator will accurately estimate costs and materials for flooring projects, collaborating with sales, project management, and installation teams. Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client needs.
• Utilize industry software and tools to generate precise and competitive estimates, considering factors such as labor, materials, and additional services.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information.
• Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements accurately.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, and proposals.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the flooring industry.
• Strong knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to generate accurate estimates.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to calculate measurements, quantities, and costs.
• Solid understanding of construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and architectural plans.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
