This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation.

What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and utility equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

  • Support daily operations by maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, pasteurizers, and other critical systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve PLC, VFD, and control system issues; assist with instrumentation and calibration tasks.

  • Ensure all work complies with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.

  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.

  • Accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in the CMMS system.

 

Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred)

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment

  • Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers

  • Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings

  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus

  • Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm–6am shift

 

Shift & Compensation

  • Shift: 6pm–6am | Rotating schedule (Mon/Tues & every other Fri–Sun or Wed/Thurs & every other Fri–Sun)

  • Employee Type: Hourly | Safety Sensitive: Yes

  • Base Pay Range: $22.29 – $30.15/hr + shift premiums
